Already the leading home services company in France with 12,000 employees and 230 agencies, the OUI CARE Group (formerly O2 Group) is reinforcing its role as leader by the acquisition of Apef Services. Guillaume Richard, President-Founder of the OUI CARE Group, states that Apef Services, the 5th largest player in home services with over 3,000 employees, 100 agencies and a turnover of 3 million euros in 2015, “will preserve its DNA, its name, its values and its autonomy with the OUI CARE Group.”
With the acquisition of Apef Services, the O₂ Group is significantly reinforcing its ranking of leader in home services in France. Between organic and external growth, the turnover of the OUI CARE Group should rise from 152 million in 2015 to over 250 million in 2017, making a growth of over 60% in two years!
With the arrival of Apef Services, the OUI CARE Group now has 340 local agencies and 15,000 employees, divided up among its 4 other brands:
- O₂ care services, a home services multi-specialist brand for private individuals (house cleaning-ironing, childcare, elderly and special needs care, gardening)
- Apef Services, also a home services multi-specialist brand with a stronger focus on elderly people
- France Présence, brand specialised in home services for elderly and special needs care
- La Conciergerie O2, new brand specialised in local multi-assistance concierge services
Guillaume Richard, President-Founder of the OUI CARE Group:
We are very happy to welcome Apef Services within the Group which today maintains its status as a major sector-leader in France,” says Guillaume Richard, President-Founder of the O₂ Group. “We share the values of both the company and its founder, Christian Junik, who has done a fantastic job managing Apef Services since 1992. Our objective is to pursue and consolidate his work by providing our expertise and build a stronger brand. Apef Services will keep its name - its DNA - its values and its autonomy within the O₂ Group. Apef Services will also provide us its know-how in home services for elderly care and all necessary communication with the various institutions. Last but not least, as opposed to O₂, the Apef Service network includes 80% of franchises and I’m very much looking forward to see what these entrepreneurs will propose to develop the brand.
